Sergio Galan

Active since 1978, working in wood, steel, stone, and glass — often at monumental scale. Trained in Industrial Design, then sharpened his craft at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and RISD. The work is about what material does to space: its presence, its weight, its permanence. Nearly five decades in, and the practice holds the same commitments it started with.
