Ximena Subercaseaux

Subercaseaux paints the way a poet writes — in long, obsessive series, drawing on literature to build worlds that are intimate and monumental at once. Her surfaces — worked in egg tempera, oil, and whatever the work demands — carry the weight of classical craft into something unmistakably alive. Collected by FEMSA, Cemex, and the Museum of Latin American Art; exhibited at FIAC Paris.
