Marsala Crystal Vase and Cap, Amber

The rounded cap lifts away to become an independent vase, so the Marsala is two pieces in one. Each is mouth-blown into an original cast iron mold from a historic Tuscan workshop, giving the amber crystal its characteristic variation from warm honey to deep gold as the light changes. At this scale it reads as a sculptural column on the floor or the dominant presence on a large console or sideboard.
