Hector Alvarado
Industrial designer by training, sculptor by conviction. He studied at Iberoamericana, took his master's to Sydney, then landed in Monterrey at Jorge Elizondo's workshop and found marble. A classical material, but in his hands it carries a different charge: physics, fractals, the mechanics of the universe rendered in stone. Twenty-four years, seven solo shows, fifty-five group exhibitions across four countries.
