Sylvia Nogueira

Daughter of master watercolorist Efrén Nogueira — and clearly a worthy heir. Trained in interior design at I.S.C.A.M., she took up watercolor under her father's guidance in 1982 and never put the brush down. Four decades of exhibitions in Mexico and the U.S., a decade-long presence at MARCO, and thirty-plus years of teaching. Her work holds the quality that only sustained practice produces: quiet confidence, technical precision, and an intimacy with the medium that no shortcut can replicate.
